you’re surrounded by people opening free collector boosters, flying to MagicCons, and comparing preview schedules, then ripping three cb in two and a half minutes and that probably feels completely ordinary to you… but the average player is sitting there thinking: “I couldn’t even get one of these at MSRP”…. that’s a gigantic disconnect.

Yup I’m done with mtg “influencers” it’s so dumb how the set isnt even out yet and there is already more than 4 of those cards that we know of in the hands of influencers.

love opening the app to hear this dude brag about his ability to easily obtain cards. remember the days when a cool card would come out and you could just keep it and play with it without the thought in the back of your head that it's got a 25k bounty on it. The hobbit is my favorite franchise and it sucks that it's not more attainable to us "lesser" players. would love to own a beautiful card like that and play it in my deck but I could never knowing what 25k could do for my daughter.

I really thought Ben was a different kind of creator but I realized he’s all about using his status to gain access to these cards. If they’re offering 25k for the card it’s clearly worth more than that. It’s disappointing to watch 😞
