the hate’s definitely personal. she was never even all that bad and she absolutely does calm down.. if they think she’s unbearable that’s just because they don’t actually like her or agree with any of the things she’s done, so they’re refusing to acknowledge her growth.

They call her hot headed but forget that Aang goes into the avatar state over Appa being stolen. He had his moments too. It’s almost as if they are kids that are allowed to grow and change and mature. 😒

Yes! I agree she was hot heated in the beginning of the show but she did so much change throughout the seasons and really started to adhere to an approach that involved more patience! It reminded me of when Aang had to master neutral Jing when learning earth bending! He had to learn to be patient and wait for the right moment to strike! I feel like Korra kind of did the same!

the way she gently sits down to be at her level. i don’t understand why people hate her so ferociously. even if what they say she did was actually bad or she was actually bad- why do they not empathise with her and love her because of how hard she tried and how kind she was?? it feels icky.
