@yueranxii: Shinichi and Ran were already inseparable long before Haibara entered the story. He has loved Ran since childhood, and they had already been on multiple dates before Haibara even existed in their lives. So the claim that "Haibara is the reason Shinichi and Ran worked out" is simply false. I was shocked when I saw their posts and comments. They hate seeing people praise Ran for saving Haibara, so they go as far as rewriting the story just to give their fav character more credit. The problem is, it's not even true. How can they claim Haibara is the reason ShinRan worked out when Conan repeatedly broke Haibara's rules for Ran? Haibara constantly told him to keep his distance from Ran. Even in the Kyoto trip, she warned him not to flirt too much with Ran, but he ignored her and did exactly that. If Shinichi had actually followed Haibara's advice every time, ShinRan wouldn't have progressed the way it did.
