More attention IS reinforcing, and anorexia wires your brain to like being called alarming. It’s not a vanity issue, it’s a brain issue. General discourse about body positivity is helpful, targeting someone who is mentally ill isn’t, even if you have good intentions.

Judy obviously had a very tragic life, and I am a huge Ariana fan - I am not saying either of them deserve the mental and physical afflictions they have, and I do not think the nasty things a lot of people say were/are deserved. However….when you are one of the biggest stars in the world, it unfortunately exposes you to an unnatural amount of people, and people are always going to say what they want, and it can’t really be stopped and you can’t really shield yourself from it. What I will say is that regardless of what Ariana has going on, it’s absolutely concerning and I think it’s normal for a person who cares (like me, a huge fan) to have concern when something doesn’t feel right. Idk.

so much of her weight issues were linked to her addictions. she would stop cold turkey on the pills and turn to food and then use the pills to loose weight.
