@Trek McArthur: This is no demon or ghost. That's a Malevolent Fey from the Unseelie Court. She's attached to that dollhouse and she's living in it. There is no way to remove her or the dollhouse without risking your life. He did the right thing when he sealed her in there. She's obviously lost most of her power or you'd absolutely know. It's best to leave her the hell alone, because there's never just one. The Unseelie Court lives in pairs or large groups unless they're Redcaps which this clearly isn't, or Hags who live in swamps. She's almost certainly a Boggart and considering he had to seal it up, he must have named her which binds her to the property permanently. Otherwise cold iron could've driven her away. Naming her acts like a spiritual anchor. It acknowledges her presence, feeds her ego, and binds her identity directly to that specific location. He must have had trouble removing her so he contained/quarantined her. There's most likely a ring of salt around the dollhouse or cold iron nails around each opening. If she is sealed behind a wall where no one can see her, hear her, or accidentally speak her name, her power slowly starves. She stays bound to the dollhouse but she is functionally "turned off" because she has no human energy or fear to feed on. Well, until now. Good fucking luck, this is worse than any poltergeist you can think of. You need to seal that shit back up and hope she doesn't get out and just literally forget you ever saw what was in there.
