The opinions on whether it is staged or not is mixed but there is a general agreement that the core premise and the bonuses are real but the situations are heavily curated by the producers and cover stories are made up to explain the camera crew. And they also select specific employees.

Can tell no one’s watched this. They are explained that the person the cameras are following is someone from a reality tv show of people trying to start over in life after messing up, and the show is about finding them a job, than boom it’s the ceo
