If this were a truly functioning democracy, this issue would not be swept under the carpet. How can the latest INEC particulars list Tinubu’s primary/secondary school details as “NIL,” when the documents submitted during the 2023 election contained specific details about the schools he attended? These are not minor discrepancies. If the records submitted at different times contradict each other, Nigerians deserve a clear explanation and a proper investigation. And if it is established that false information or a constitutional violation occurred, then the law should take its full course including removal from office if that is the constitutionally prescribed consequence. Accountability should not depend on who is in power. 🇳🇬
