At the risk of asking really dumb question were you able to leave your sprinklers on when you let?

evacuation is chaotic but when you have livestock it's so much more stressful. We are in California and actually keep the trailer hooked up during summers with extra supplies like feeders, water buckets, medical, ect in case we have to evacuate them. A new normal for us.

thankful we left BC. it is not worth the headache and trauma of running from those fires every summer or worrying about it. so much smoke, so bad for the animals involved and humans alike.

Yikes! We went down to Kewlona today and saw a fire just starting over the hill, by the time we went around Kewlona and started heading down to Vernon you could see it down in the valley already. Scary stuff!
