Some of you seriously need to understand that grief doesn’t have a dress code, a schedule, or a checklist. People survive it in different ways. If someone wants to travel, laugh, stay busy or simply keep living after losing someone they love, that’s their business. Bullying a grieving person because they’re not performing grief the way you expect says far more about you than it does about them.

I don’t think people are mad at Emilie for going on vacation. They’re mad because teddy didn’t have a life jacket on. And the context around the clancys is so different because people are mad at THAT because they feel he ignored every cry for help she made, left her alone with the kids after she told him the voices told her to hurt her kids that day, and then left and moved on and had a new baby. There’s nothing wrong with moving on there was just certain context surrounding. And you have done nothing wrong. We are all so happy for you and your new life you’re building. And your son is with you every step of the way, just not in the way you both deserve for him to be with you. Sending you all of my love 💗💗💗

i lost my son last year he was 7 and my mum 14 weeks later and now raising my 3 year old daughter alone i'm so scared it's unreal every time she gets ill or hurts herself my body goes back into shock! i'm just getting by not moving on.. no one's there for you.. they just don't see the sadness. until it happens to you, don't judge everyone grieves DIFFERENTLY!
