@scphxy: Please help our Nero:( Nero was castrated two days ago. According to the vet, his surgical wound is healing well, but because he recently underwent surgery, his immune system became weaker, and that's when the symptoms started to show. After monitoring his breathing (27 breaths per 15 seconds), we decided to bring him to the vet. The only way to determine if there were any complications was through a CBC or an X-ray. The CBC cost ₱850, while the X-ray was ₱950. The vet recommended that we prioritize the X-ray so they could examine his internal organs, so we agreed. The results showed that Nero has fluid in his lungs and is constipated, which is also affecting his ability to pee. The vet told us that the chances of recovery through medication are only 50/50, and hearing that completely broke my heart. I couldn't stop myself from crying. Despite that, the vet also gave us hope. They said that once Nero is able to poop, his condition could improve, and he'll be able to take the medication that can help remove the fluid in his lungs. We're doing everything we can for him, but the expenses are becoming difficult for us to manage. Any amount, no matter how small, would mean so much and would go directly toward Nero's treatment and medications. Thank you so much for your kindness, prayers, and support. Please keep our Nero in your prayers. 🤍🐈 GCash: 09457589337 #viral #relatable #cat #furparents
