This is completely valid. I don’t try to be sad all the time but I know it can be draining for the people around you and sometimes other people have their own problems and that’s okay. Never put someone above yourself, it’s not selfish, it’s normal. It’s valid on both sides. It’s okay to be upset that people dropped you because you were sad, I would still be upset if someone dropped me again but I couldn’t really blame them either. Putting yourself before others is important. It’s is seen as selfish nowadays but it’s not
