most of these came from judo. Even the "armbar" known as "juji-gatame" and the inaccurate double leg is also from judo. The double leg isn't used in judo anymore due to grabbing legs being banned. It was banned due to people finding the sport boring because the whole fight judokas would be touching their hands at the floor waiting to grab the legs.
