@themamachel: I feel dogs live short lives because they absorb and transmute all of our unprocessed emotions. A Cane Corso is emotionally mature and advanced. They will take your problems to their last breath and I don’t want to be the reason another dog transcends early. I’m finally the safest place I know and for that- this powerful girl can focus all of her attention on my daughter and live a healthy long life. I know she is the incarnation of my last dog and he endured the depths of my shadow. Now he gets to return and receive only love and not stress from mama.
