In my opinion, many political parties made a strategic mistake during the campaign. Instead of focusing on their own plans, policies, and vision for the people, they spent too much time criticizing Vijay, using harsh language, bringing up personal or family issues, and underestimating TVK. This was not just one party's mistake—several established parties did the same thing. Their campaign became more about attacking Vijay than explaining what they would do if elected. Because everyone kept talking about Vijay and TVK, they gave him even more public attention. People were watching closely and formed their own opinions. In a way, the constant criticism made more people interested in TVK. If TVK performs well, I believe one reason is that the older parties focused too much on attacking Vijay instead of convincing voters with their own ideas and plans.
