When Ned entered the throne room and saw Jamie sitting on the Throne and Aerys dead at his feet, he didn’t ask why, he didn’t imagine it might have been for a good reason. All because of the same stupid “honor” that would get him killed later. Jamie shed his honor to save five hundred thousand people and never doubted he made a mistake, because honor means nothing if you have to commit mass murder to “keep it.”

the irony is that he best thing he ever did in his life, he was outcasted for it. him, brienne, aria and hound were the best characters in the show by far. only one person realized and respected the man he was. brienne
