I play toph as well, but the artifacts dont enter as lands. since its a static ability im like 90% sure they dont become lands until they're on the battlefield

Had a moment in a 4 person commander game where "All permanents are artifacts" was played and another person had the bright idea of playing a "Destroy all artifacts, except ones you control."

ka-zar only makes 1 token on etb, ka-zar has no landfall ability. you can blink him for more zabu, but you still need to get around the legendary effect.
