@theultimatebreakupcoach: Your ex moved on fast. But will they actually be happy? Maybe. For a while. A new relationship can feel exciting because it distracts them from the ending of the last one. There is someone new to impress, new attention to enjoy and no uncomfortable silence forcing them to look at themselves. But changing partners does not change patterns. They are still taking the same unhealed wounds, avoidance, insecurities, communication problems and emotional baggage into the next relationship. Anything they refused to face with you will eventually follow them there. So please stop comparing your healing to their replacement. You may feel as though they are winning because they moved on first, but you are doing the harder and far more important work. You are sitting with the pain, learning from it and rebuilding properly. Let them rush. You take your time and make sure the next person meets a healed version of you, not a distracted one.
