I paid $175 last week (including tip) for my pup in Chicago. I do pay slightly more to use a mobile groomer who comes and does her in an hour outside my apartment building. I also have a cavapoo.

The second you mention matting they add on a surcharge even when they just shave it off. Don’t mention it next time and they might not charge. That’s pretty standard pricing though jn nyc at least

We used to go to a boujee groomer near Eglinton station and we pay 185-250 (depending if she’s super matted or not) after tax and tips. We recently changed our groomer here in downtown Toronto and we pay 100-120$ for our mini poodle!

I get my corgi groomed every 6 weeks so a bath/brush/blow-dry and hygiene trim I pay $75 each visit (including tip I actually don’t know how much she charges anymore because I tip well bc my corgi has to be muzzled and is spicy 🙈)

I have a mobile groomer that comes to my house to do my two dogs and I pay $180 each dog (that’s including a $30 tip) one gets groomed every 4 weeks and the other gets groomed every 6 weeks cause she doesn’t grow as fast.
