I have learnt a lot here... being old school and now vibe coding has helped my projects ... your advice helps.

I agree 🤌💪 and I can verify that huge amount of my tokens go in security checks at each phase of development, even if the documentation is done correctly i triple audit and verify and stress test, and my favorite:(roast yourself skill) ha haa this one usually brakes everything every time and pulls out the deepest corners od the architecture and roasts the AI in multiple stages, and then when its built and implemented i do this whole audit once again. and I also have scheduled tasks that check updates for all packages and dependencies and that data goes to the now set-up codex security audit of the whole codebase and between this depending if the project has an NDA if not, then the data is again audited with other frontier models to then get their opinions only if everywhere everything to my best available capabilities comes back green is that then only enough for me to call it a day, till the next security audit comes along which I do very often anyway. good habit these days. I mostly live in security most days as the rest is really peace of cake these days. security and vulnerabilities and new model being announced is what keeps me up at nights😂

Please do not refer to AI as “someone” or give them human pronouns. It’s a an it.

i'm literally developing an app for this very thing. checking versions against OSV.dev and a lot of other things. works for both the developer and an end user checking a vibecoded app before installing. i'd be very interested in getting your input on it if you'd like

The security aspect is challenging, and they’re not up to standard. You try to push them, and you either get security messages, they switch models, or they say they can’t show the message right now

I did that. It broke out of the sandbox and hacked its way into the CIA.

Use managed services and standard templates like cognito for auth and AWS WAF on any public endpoint. Really should be the way to go and why I can’t stand cloud wrappers that abstract it away.

I used to tell it to go through the entire project as a white hat hacker and again as a black hat hacker and compile a security audit based on this. Now I told it to go out and research the newest security skill by anthropic for claude code, as well as any current security best practices and to the best of your ability create a skill that replicates what you find and then write an audit oF what you find.
