@egoeimi70x7: Christian theology says the Bible was always monotheistic. Archaeology says Yahweh had a wife. 👀 Let’s talk about Asherah, the divine council, and how “one God” became the story centuries after the fact. #ancienthistory #monotheism #polytheism #biblestudy #deconstructiontiktok

El elyon is not a separate god. It’s a title meaning most high God, which is Yahweh in the text. The text says other nations were divided to the sons of God but he kept the governance of Israel (not modern day state of Israel, but the ancient nation) for himself. So crazy how some translations changed it to sons of Israel 😳. I always enjoy your vids… they raise great topics that encourage me to look into it more for myself. There’s usually some truth, but then there’s always something that has been tweaked slightly, interpreted incorrectly, or based in 1 persons research where several other researchers have debunked that 1 person’s theory. I’ll continue to be a follower of this account because I’ve been learning and pushed to research more than I would without ♥️"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world." — 1 John 4:1

somehow I feel as though bringing in ancient inscriptions from different religions adopting other God's is not how you disprove the Bible itself. as far as the Bible itself is concerned it mentions early on that God had assigned nations their overseers... God being the all mighty and others being just that, overseers. God is the alpha and omega and the most high... that's biblical.... how you twist it clever though....

Professor Stavrakopoulou has been such a defining intellectual in my life since I was atleast 13 yrs old, I just turned 28! I’ll never forget being introduced to her on the british show “the big questions” and her work on Asherah was so life altering!

Have you ever studied the ancient history before Judaism and Christianity was invented and how God and Yahweh eventually became the same God when previously Yahweh was one of the divine council? Fascinating stuff. Love your content!!

There are a few Gods mentioned. Baal, Molek, Chemish, Ashtoreth. They were all idols from other societies. Of course there would be a mixing of mythologies. The Israelites sacrificed their children to these idols. These same Gods got renamed and worshipped in slightly different ways. Molek, Melcarte, Hercules. Baal Hamon, Zeus, Jupiter. Ashtoreth, Astarte, Ashura, Aphrodite. I appreciate your scholarly curiosity, but as a believer, I think there was a mixing of identities between Yawe and the Phoenician Melcarte between King Solomon and Israels destruction by Babylon. Augustus Caesar even proposed to add Jesus Christ to the Roman pantheon when he heard the story. Cultures blend, but Christ is King.

Not only are there other gods, but there is an account of the god of Moab winning against Israel in a fight. It is implied that the sacrifice of the firstborn moved Chemosh to defend them and the Israelites ran away in defeat.

Thank you. I’m a Christian Pastor and I don’t have any notes on your contact. Except to say not all Christian theology denies archaeological evidence, and the fact that religions are in an ongoing process of development.

this is common knowledge. this is an example of the evolution of theological thought. it is not universal. please be specific about which form of Christianity teaches that. Catholicism does not. they also do not believe in 7 days of creation but sees it as a myth.

I think a very big thing to remember is that there is a difference between religion and spirituality. spirituality is what people followed before the energy and dark power behind the abrihamic religions inceptionalized. spirituality teaches universal laws, and the powers and energy of the universe, where religion created Gods out of our ancestors. spirituality is universal all is one understanding, and the golden rule, to do onto thosr that you would have done onto you. religion is quite the opposite, especially modern nationalism or extremism in any religion, its a man made agragore created to materialize superiority and supremacy. where universal laws teach us sacred sovereignty, religion creates supremacy in order to create a blind slave race. its far easier to control a blind man than an enlightened one.

(A post about corruption) Corruption in the Philippines is a battle that every Filipino should take seriously because it affects not only the government but also the everyday lives of millions of people. Every peso stolen through corruption is a peso taken away from students who need better schools, patients who need proper healthcare, families who need decent roads and transportation, and communities that deserve a better future. We cannot simply stay silent and hope that someone else will solve this problem. The fight against corruption begins with every individual choosing honesty over dishonesty, fairness over favoritism, and responsibility over selfishness. Government officials must remember that they are public servants, not rulers, and that the trust given to them by the people is a responsibility that should never be abused. At the same time, ordinary citizens also have a role to play by refusing to participate in bribery, reporting illegal activities, voting wisely, and holding leaders accountable for their actions. The youth, especially students, have the power to inspire change by standing for integrity, speaking up against injustice, and becoming future leaders who value transparency and accountability. Although corruption has existed for many years, it should never be accepted as a normal part of society. Every honest action, no matter how small, helps build a stronger nation. If Filipinos unite with courage, determination, and a shared commitment to justice, corruption can be challenged, public trust can be rebuilt, and the Philippines can move toward a future where opportunities are fair, government resources are used responsibly, and every citizen has the chance to live with dignity, equality, and hope. #fyppppppppppppppppppppppp #coruption #philippines
