believing you can land a 747 is the only logical belief worth having. If I can't pull this off, we all die anyway. The only version of this where we survive is one where I believe I can pull this off. Noah built an Ark with NO training. Daniel tamed lions with NO training. Neither were skilled in their respective challenge, they just trusted God. Miles Morales jumped off a building with absolute zero certainty of survival, actually, if he had certainty of anything it was that he would die. Jumping makes no sense, but EVERYTHING is on the other side.

I wonder what inspires the jump down these philosophical rabbit holes. I always find myself thinking about similar concepts, and I wish I had the studious mind to find texts / sources in the way this guy does. Actual golden nuggets every time he pops up on my feed. For some this may be in one ear and out the other, but if internalized this is genuinely life altering information.

I agree except for the Abraham and Isaac part. Abraham does not think “nothing ever happens” instead he knows “God has a plan and it is good.” He knows that nothing he has is his, Abrahams, it is all Gods and God has only let him hold it temporarily.

My boyfriend flies 747s and I asked him how does it feel to know that he could land any plane, he said that was crazy. That is probably why is able to land 747s.
