We used the warranty to its fullest.Im sure where we bought it was tired of us but we got everything fixed the first year.. so second year was great..no more prepares needed!

Open Range is a Thor product and they are the worst of the worst in the RV industry. Thor seems to make it impossible for the dealers to get things done efficiently. We purchased a new 2025 Alliance Avenue from General RV last year and hands down the best customer service we’ve ever had in 10 years of owning an RV. We’ve only had a few minor issues that needed to be addressed and within the day we had approval and the work completed and the issues we had were with Lippert equipment. Thats another problem in the rv industry, Lippert has a dominant presence in every manufacturer.

I skipped the dealership. called their corporate office. they cracked the whip and everything was fixed. and if they couldn't fix it they'd buy it back. everything was fixed and im happy.

That really sucks and is so disappointing. We bought a new one this year as well an East to West Alta 1900 MMK. We haven’t had a single problem with it yet and have been on several weekend trips. I’m sorry you’re going through this. In all honesty when we were looking we found that you get what you pay for. A lot of the cheaper ones we looked at were shawty workmanship. It wasn’t until we started looking in the 30K plus range did we find the workmanship was much better. Wishing you the best.

there is not enough room to tell you how many problems we had, everyone just passes the issue back and forth. we did so many claims with the manufacturer with no help at all. we ended up selling it and took a 20k loss. I wish you the best of luck but you might want to cut your losses at some point. currently still paying off the 20k with nothing to show for it!

same thing happened with my 2026 forest river. leaked , ac died , cabinet broke when we put food on it. I wish I never bought it

The best thing you can do is not buy an extended warranty learn how to work on everything on your RV. You will be able to enjoy it instead of having it sit at the dealer for months.
