Okay. Can we please have discussions that land somewhere in the middle...? I'm a diehard Swiftie. And I can't stand the disingenuous criticism of her. But her being a billionaire and hungry for money/success isn't an invalid or baseless point. I genuinely think her music is incredibly important to her. But the answer to the criticism isn't to say it's totally ethical for her to be a billionaire. Why is no one capable of dialectical thinking or nuance? Both narratives are harmful.

I hate when people bring up the fact that’s she’s a billionaire to say she’s evil. Taylor is a billionaire because she put in the work and the effort and the emotion needed to make ART. She’s creative and a lyrical genius and that is what made her money. She hasn’t exploited anyone to make the money she has like other billionaires. She pays the people who work for her very very well, and she donates to important causes constantly. If there is any billionaire out here who deserves their money it is her.
