I work at a gym and I clean the men’s restroom and put a sign out like this. Men constantly come in a use the urinal right in front of me.

As a woman, I just want to let some of y'all know both genders can be sexually harassed by either gender. Just saying this to some of y'all, I don't want to respond to every comment. (yes I know its more likely for a woman to be harassed by a man)

As a manager of a PF, as a man when I’m alone and have to make sure it’s clean for the ladies, I put the sign up and have a woman member go in and want the ladies or ask if it’s okay for me to enter then I wait. All of my male staff know to keep their head down anyways and be quick. These signs are helpful and legally required.

I understand the uncomfortableness of it, but as someone who used to work in sanitation, it's just our job. if a male worker is in the women's restroom, most-likely he's just working. There are also some places that block off the restrooms until the person is done working, so you could talk to planet fitness about implementing something like that
