@aspoonfilledlifellc: Those of us living with chronic illness are familiar with this experience. You’re checking into the doctor’s office, and the PA asks you to share a bit of your history, and what is bringing you in today. Until recently this was something I struggled with. As someone with life long conditions and a complex medical history, it can be difficult to know what exactly I should tell them, what relevant information I should communicate, or how my life is being impacted by the chief complaint bringing me into the office. Can you relate to this experience, too? I have good news for you! I created the perfect product which provides: pages to record concerns bringing you into the doctor’s office, pages to document important information, & follow-up tasks after the appointment, and other tools to help you navigate everyday life with chronic illness or disability. This week a customer asked “I was recently diagnosed with (something). Is it too late in the year to purchase a planner?” My answer: “of course not!” The reality is that a diagnosis can come at any time, and if you’re (currently) living with chronic illness or disability you are always deserving of support, and tools to help you navigate life with chronic illness and disability. That is why I created A Spoon-Filled Life, LLC. I used my experience of navigating the medical field as someone with lifelong diagnosis, and reflected on what I wish was available to assist and guide me on this life. I am currently working on A Spoon-Filled Life’s 3rd annual planner, but this the current planner is still available for purchase, along with various other guides, and ebooks which teach you how to talk to people in your life about chronic illness and disability, and teach them how to support you. Go to the link in my bio now and purchase your copy, today! • • • My name is Ashlee, and I'm a Disabled woman living with POTs, Hydrocephalus, and Cerebral Palsy. I am also a small business owner of a business called A Spoon-Filled Life, LLC. I created a series of products that teach people living with chronic illness and disability how to talk to: their loved ones, siblings, and intimate partners about their chronic illness and disability. I launched ASFL Yearly Planner, where each month features a lived experience, and provides tools to check in with yourself, track your symptoms, and provide tools to record important notes after appointments.
