Ge'ez isn't Ethiopic. Ge'ez mainly is vlise to languages: 1. Tigre (Eritrea), 2. Tigrinya (Eritrean & Tigrean), lastly Amharic, Ethiopia

The symbol or character ሠ and its vowels which are ሡ ሢ ሣ ሤ ሥ ሦ must have had the sh sound originally however Geéz and subsequently all Ethipic langugages changed it to the "s" sound while there is anyother symbol in the alphabit which is "ሰ" and its vowels ሱ ሲ ሳ ሴ ስ ሶ። In Geéz the word name is witten as ሥም፣ and I noticed here Aramaic read this as "shim", while all Ethiopics read it as "sim" We have some unused symbols like this in the Ethiopic or Geéz alphabet.
