As a bridal make up artist myself. I would’ve taken the L of the previous wedding being cancelled & I would’ve put my travel on a credit card & fulfill my duties & stick to my commitments. Nothing is worth risking my business, reputation & someone else’s special day!

I feel like he explained it/made himself very clear that it wasn’t about the money but in fact, it’s the PRINCIPLE of it all. To be a business owner and conduct yourself without honesty or integrity is outrageous. In my opinion, I feel like the point was to bring awareness of how the MUA conducts herself/her business and that at the end of the day, her morals, ethics, and values weren’t honest . Instead of ACKNOWLEDGING, OWNING UP, and being HONEST about the situation, the MUA did the exact opposite. Bottom line is that it’s about the principle. Yeah, his sister did get her money back but the MUA should’ve made it right, if not for the sister then at least for herself, her business and reputation. Idk that’s just my 2 cents and I could be right or I could be wrong but her wrongs were not made right.

A refund does not REPLACE her MUA one month before her WEDDING!!! Finding the artist takes TIME and that’s running out. Then to see the MUA at the original wedding 🤬😡. A true professional would suck it up and change how she runs her business surrounding travel to protect herself. The bride should not be punished because another bride cancelled. Then for the MUA to just be lying and posting about it is 🤯

I think the bottom line here is the MUA signed a contract, then tried to extort more money from the bride and when that didn’t work, she simply canceled the signed contract with no recourse or consequence!! That’s dead wrong no matter what!
