Persona 3 is the first entry for me here. I was curious how many days or so to spend on dungeons. First dungeon was done in about 4 days because I wanted to work on social links na get money for items/equipment. 2nd time I did it all in one day so I have whole remainder of the next month to do all social link stuff. If I am not timely is there consequences for taking forever to do dungeons?

persona 5 i did them at the beginning because its fun, p3 at the end because its boring and p4 at the beginning so i dont waste the first day where we find the dungeon

I’ve always done them at the beginning of the month or as soon as possible because *the story* tells you this is urgent and often close to the characters. I’m role-playing, I get my free time after saving my friend / the world, not beforehand.

pretty sure there are more social links available in p5 while you wait for the palace ruler's confession after beating the palace so its better to do it asap

i do it mixed spend time in the castle then leave do some social links then go back in the castle thats how i normally do it

As someone who got all the social links in p4 in a non Ng+ play through, the start is nearly always better because it doesn't cancel the school social links

I have always been a Day 1 Done person, but I realized why playing P3R. I played P4 first, and in P4(and5) narratively it makes no sense to wait, someone is actively in danger, and on a gameplay level its not that important, and nothing is added at later dates. plus in 5 party SL will stop if you take too long until you do the dungeon. but in P3 it IS better to wait. you dont always get the new party member right away, more rescue requests will show up, and there's no narrative stake for waiting to do it, so if you started with P3, end of the time slot is what you learned to do

My method is doing the whole dungeon the first day I get access to it until my path is blocked / I reach the treasure. My team is SHUGGING bending machine drunks and tokoyaki/ ramen / whatever the f u have in hand

Do it on rainy days when most social links aren't available anyway, and you get rainy day exclusive enemies.

in person i did it start of the month, but for metaphor I decided to switch it up and do end of month, wich sadly meant it was way easier since it was a bit overleveled from the optional dungeons

usually in P4, due to the rain, you get plenty of time at the end of the month to do it. I personally do them the moment I unlocked them

Nah I did Tartarus at the end of the month cuz it made me mad when I went as soon as possible just for Elizabeth to be like “hey there’s more humans in the tower”

I kind of miss the getting sick mechanic, where if you spent too much time in the dungeon you can get exhausted and then sick.

i did tartarus, dungeons AND palaces in 1-2 days the moment theyre available. you miss out on too many social links by waiting, apart from spoiler final dungeons in 4

So I usually do it within the last 2 days or so. I have a small buffer incase I make bad choices. But part of why I did that is cause after you finish the dungeon it feels like most of the main cast will refuse to do certain things with you now? It's been a while but I just remember that everytime I wanted to do something with them, they'd say something like "I'm to stressed about whether or not our plan will work". (Mostly referring to 5. I don't remember 3 that much)
