I feel like if it were to be added to base game it would be a sorta filler dimension that doesn't count towards the progression to the end cause the name "the sift" makes it sound like you're simply going in and exploring without any real rime or reason for progression

Every dimension has to have a unique generation style. Overworld = default terrain Nether = caves End = floating islands. A deep dark dimension would probably have a world type that hasn't been seen before. Maybe a world made of structures, creating an infinite dungeon
