We’re setting the discussion about PPD and PPP back 50 years with their rhetoric. Yes they are real, yes people need to learn the signs and how to help women in need but most importantly (and the part I feel is getting lost with people making excuses or saying it’s not her fault) is that women need to be accountable when they have these thoughts and feelings. Know when and how to get help. Only you know what’s going on in your brain and only you are responsible for your actions even in PPD and PPP. It’s not your fault you’re having the thoughts, it is your fault what you choose to do with that information after you have them.
