Their grandma would say " I raised 6 kids I know what I'm doing" anytime I would say how I was raising my daughter...my response "and I don't want me kid ending up like any of your 6" was it rude yes but the audacity of people that don't just let a mom be a mom

I was outside the whole first year with my daughter at all the museums and parks. Everything. People were like she’s not gonna remember them like okay?!? New experiences help grow their mind also I could be gone like tomorrow so why not?

Us with being screen free until at least 2. My little one is 1.5 and we still get “oh it’s easy now but just wait till you get to real screen time age, you’ll cave” like okay maybe but for me, I’m willing to put in the effort 🤷🏼♀️

It’s projection and jealousy. Also when women talk to me like motherhood is a breeze and it’s easy and also have 5/6 kids… I just know it’s because they were/are low effort. Because if you cared it is time consuming and hard work. Nothing about motherhood is easy when you care to give your child the absolute best of everything from food to atmosphere to learning etc.
