@karam3688: In WW2 London cut down all its fences to make weapons. After the war they had no fences but 600k leftover stretchers that carried Blitz victims. So they welded them into fences. You can still find them in Peckham, Brixton & Hackney today. #History #london #ww2 #blitz #hiddenhistory

If only we lived in a time like theirs, that when a need arose people didn't shrink back. A time when things broken weren't discarded, but found a new purpose. Should that time come again, it will undoubtedly be preceded by immense loss. I pray our will and resilience are up to the task.
