I had a goat who had a turkey for a best friend. They both loved each other. My goatie girl passed away peacefully, and my turkey boy spent the next few days pining away for her, he passed 3 days later, now they are buried side by side and reunited in heaven. Broke my heart, but brings me comfort to know they are together.

The last barn I was working on had those two elderly gay horses that got to retire while I was there. We always kept them together as they loved each other so much (and yes they did the hanky panky too) and would freak out if separated. One died due to old age and the other followed only three days after, he wasn't ill before then. He just kinda gave up and died, the last three days he was very obviously grieving and depressed about his loss. They are now galloping over the rainbow fields together for eternity ❤️. (Little funfact: Geldings are quite often gay, I saw more gay horse couples then straight ones)
