The pop up industry behind this dog 💩 job market is out of control. So many sites have popped up out of the darkness to have people pay $10, $20, $1200 to get resume reviews, templates, and networking events for other out of work professionals. It's all a gift. Anyone asking you to pay to get access is more invested in you staying unemployed than actually helping you.

I’m a strategy Director at a fortune 20 company and I’m gonna tell you when I’m looking at resumes. Do you have the experience? That’s what I really give a shit about… obviously your résumé was passed along because you did at some point. I’ve seen some really great resumes and I’ve seen some that were shit. Honestly, you don’t need a prime résumé. You need the correct résumé with the right skill sets entered. Your résumé should be relevant for the job you’re applying for.
