My partner's grandmother scared a nurse when she was near death. She said to the nurse, 'Did your daughter like the purple crayon?' We didn't understand why the nurse was shaken until she explained that the day before, at home, her daughter was colouring in the living room. Her daughter had asked for a purple crayon and the nurse looked in her daughter's room for one. When she went back to the living room, her daughter had a purple crayon already and said 'It's ok. The old lady gave me one.' We have no idea why my partner's grandmother said what she said to the nurse and she never explained. The nurse was so shaken she didn't visit the house again.
