@emmascraftsx: Making an insect wall hanging that has a whimsical medieval vibe🐞🗡️🌿🐝 This is the biggest thing I’ve ever made! The pattern itself is around 9.5cm x 13cm, then including the dowel, hanging string, and tassels, it’s about 12cm x 23.5cm. In terms of knots, it’s 43 base strings and 61 rows, so 2623 knots total. I have actually done a wall hanging that’s 53 x 69, but I used embroidery thread so it turned out smaller than this! I also tried out a new ending with grouping the base strings into three sections and putting a gold clasp around them. I like how it turned out and think it adds to the tapestry vibe. The pattern is 210852 on braceletbook.com, but I made some adjustments to the design at the top. I removed the dragonfly’s antennas (?) and added a flower as I preferred the layout this way! #tapestry #cottagecore #medievalcore #whimsy #insects
