I feel like their is such a grey area surrounding this topic so it’s nice to know when it’s ok to voice when someone feels like they’re objectifying with their words to much and that poeple are aloud to be comfortable in their sexuality identity and make sure that their words don’t feel like personalized insults at the same time because I feel like in the lgbtq community it’s normalized to call poeple bitch maybe because gay men are considered also degraded for expressing feminine traits so I thought it might be a solidarity thing and sometimes it is depending on how much you know the person enough that it’s a running joke in your relationship but also that in our culture athough efforts to reclaim the word into a positive can be fun and delightful it’s good to be mindful of how the term can effect others and it’s also ok to tell people who are really hyper and energetic that it isn’t for you to be called bitch often. Even if it makes the mood uncomfortable you still should uphold your boundaries so you can engage genuinely with someone without building resentment from the ongoing insults and have a genuine connection going forward
