i honestly wanna say the little piece that fell off, isnt always needed. ive taken ours off & didnt use in alot of appliances like coffee pot.

definitely not a American plug. they should replace it for you. call the company becauseeven without the fround part that came off it will never fit in American plugs.

That is a 20 amp plug it requires a special circuit. It should be a dedicated line from the breaker box. The ground may not even be needed.

That looks like a European plug and if you bought that recently, they might have another adapter that pops in there where that particular plug is I have a piece of equipment that I bought for my business that have both and I can pop that prong set up out and put the American plug set up in the same space. I hope that makes sense.

You need a dedicated circuit and ply for that AC. Can’t use a regular outlet for that AC.

if you don't have that find of plug, you can get an adapter to use on your regular plug. Also it will still work without that piece.
