Elia's character not only being a kind lady, caring for her children and having an arranged marriage more akin to a friendship as in the books, but also being involved in politics, caring for the Martells and Done, scheming against the ruling of Aerys who is becoming madder and openly discriminates against her and her daughter, having a partnership with Rhaegar, being rightfully mad at his overly devotion to prophecy and his choice for queen of love and beauty, and trying to defend Rhaella from Aerys were very good additions to her character, but Elia suddenly being at good terms with the fact her husband took a noble CHILD bride and got her pregnant, which could put her children's claim to risk and hinder her original plans, were bad and stupid writing decisions considering Elia is stated to be a kind and smart person. She could have been against those decisions but being unable to do something against that decision due to falling sick from stress (since her health is frail) and/or due to Rhaegar's interference if he uses his power as thd crown prince. Elia now being in an open romance with Ashara (I mention open due to Brandon being another lover of Ashara) isn't the same as being Rhaegar being with Lyanna, as neither Elia nor Ashara were children nor they would get pregnant from their affair, and the Rhoynish Dorne is certainly more tolerant homosexuality and paramours, so that addition is not a bad thing, though certain people would say it is very convenient. I hope the next books take the good additions and throw away the bad additions about Elia.

I mean, it was an arranged marriage from the start, so it doesn't seem so crazy to me that Ellia had someone else, whether it was Ashara or anyone else.

Es increíble es como todo queda a favor de rhaegar, el atentado para quitar a Aerys? Elia era la que le daba ideas y por lo tanto parte de la culpa es de ella, la profecía ? Lyanna creia más en ella que rhaegar, las humillaciones hacia su esposa? No pasa nada elia no le importaba es más hasta amante tenía, el rapto? Lyanna se fue por voluntad propia sin dudar ni un momento, la derrota ante Robert? En realidad una visión lo interrumpió y por eso murió, casarse con lyanna? No es culpa de rhaegar, es más Elia le dijo que se casarán para que fueran como los conquistadores, si iban a blanquear tanto a rhaegar ya mejor digan que el era el príncipe prometido y wue era su destino 💀
