July 4, 2022, me and 3 of my sober brothers went to NYC for a guys trip. Unknowingly one of the guys booked us tickets on a boat to see the fireworks. It was an open bar booze cruise 🤪🤪🤪 had an absolutely amazing time with the crew of the boat on the lower level once things got spicy lol Justlike u can get sober anywhere, you can stay sober too!!!

I had a lot of pre anxiety the last time I went to Vegas during recovery. It’s was for my brothers bachelor party. I’ve been to Vegas plenty of times and this was my first being completely sober. I made it to all the events but ended the night early before any triggers could happen. Was it hard? Yes. But at the end of the trip I was proud that I made it through. One of my accomplishments during recovery. Nearing two years this coming October

Cheap hack for Vegas: DO NOT buy water in the vending machines in the hotel. Go down the street there’s an ABC store every mile. They have GIANT bottles of water for $1! Stock up and take them to your hotel! You need lots of water anyway bc it’s so damn hot.
