Nayoung didn’t know English and Manon still found a way to communicate with her, she was never a problem or spoke rudely abt anyone. Manon missed non mandatory classes and people think it’s the end of the world.

I could actually write a novel on how the other girls genuinely mistreated her and were encouraged to do so by DA staff. Manon skipped a COUPLE *(non mandatory** practices, and wasn't the only one to do so, but she was the only one shamed and villainized for it. and she was literally recovering from covid and in pain trying to build years of dance and vocal foundations in under a single year. the writing was on the wall when she was shamed and villainized for trying to take care of herself while still excelling in every examination day, and then Sophia was praised and glorified for performing Buttons while legitimately sick enough that her doing so endangered her health and the health of every girl that performed with her

also in the documentary u can see she was the only one taking notes as well and when they all had a talk with her which manon wanted to do and got the girls gathered up they told her she needs to be taking notes in class when she literally does and is seen doing so before they even talked about it

and lets not forget during dream academy manon wasn't the only one who missed practices. some of the other girls missed just as much or more practices than manon did and it was only taken out on her. manon even mentioned during da that there were other girls who missed practices like she did

they were literally all jealous and ima stand ten toes on that. i never understood why they cared so much that the missed optional practices, like shouldn't u be happy u get a better chance of standing out and ur competition isn't there? also manon cant control that she has natural star power, some girls js didn't have it and they hated that she caught up to them w half the time of their training
