I'm all for spoofing amiibos but the original video is right. With a few exceptions they don't add anything meaningful to most games with amiibo support. Which is probably as good a reason to get this so you don't have to go out of you way for minor add-ons.

I mean the reason we can't have amiibos be actually meaningful is because that would make them kinda pay-2-win, so we're stuck w/ little collectables & easter eggs in games; personally that's a fine use of them but I get why others would want them to be have more of an impact
