a couple of masked men scammed a store in my district out of a thousand dollars using the gift card trick, then they came to my store thinking they could do the same thing here today, they went straight to the new associate who was on registor 3 (i was on 1) and tried to scam us. the other key holder went over there and stopped them quickly

I can teach you how to do a return. without a receipt, you should dm me... its also in the sop that we can do it, but the money goes back to a dg gift card. its simple and it takes care of our customers and makes repeat customers.

I’ve never once had anything said to me about giving a refund without a receipt and I’ve never put it on a DG gift card either. None of my coworkers will do it though 🤷🏻♀️I had one key holder I trained myself(and walked him through several refunds over the phone because he couldn’t remember how to do them) and he would straight up tell the customers that he wasn’t doing a refund period and they would just have to come back when I worked. 😅

Had a customer try to return an item that was purchased at family dollar. It was in a DG bag. Yes we carry the item but I wasn’t doing it.

I’ll exchange it for something else without a receipt for regulars but to give money back ain’t happening. Ppl get mad threatened burn the store down n shit
