for all the people complaining about toby’s decision to not translate the game and need context as to why he doesn’t want to ; he believes that attempting to translate deltarune in another language won’t be able to convey his writing style and tone as well as languages he knows. imagine wanting to make a story very important and dear to you, and wanting to translate it into other languages for other people to enjoy. the only problem is, you want to make sure everything is worded the way you intend, and every piece of dialogue holds the same weight as it would in english. that is toby’s problem.
