They are not as manipulative as they think they are. They’re very predictable. The argument typically begins when you try to talk about something they did that bothered you, they demand to know when they did this (even if it just happened they will want to know when they did it in the past) you tell them when and they walk away while telling you that you’re being condescending. It’s very childish behavior and it becomes comical after dealing with it so many times over.

My ex husband was a master at this and I fell for it every time. I’d get so turned around in arguments and confused on how we ended up with me always apologizing or begging him not to leave me. I started secretly recording our arguments and listening back when I was clear headed and it was so obvious! He would deflect blame and distract me so he wouldn’t have to answer for his drinking and abuse.

I just go to my room!😂 Two weeks ago I got out of the car at a stop sign. I would rather walk my handicap a** home and take all day and sit in another five minutes in the car with him.
