I would recommend watching the Doux’s TikTok for technique and combos! I’m still figuring out my hair too but the worse part is it takes trial and error.🙄 Layering the products is important too, especially depending on ur texture and the weather.

The Doux products doesn’t work for me babe honestly 🫠 Try the Camille Rose Honey Mousse . If you use her gel, the honey mousse is a great combo . Just apply everything to very wet hair 🩷

The doux is an all in one product. Don’t mix it with a leave in. It conditions enough and ofc use on damp clean hair

You probably have low porosity and many doux have protein which can cause protein overload

If you’re mixing brands that’s why. You can’t use all products with each other. You can put a little in your hand from each product,mix it, and see if it works together before u put it in your hair

Check out the doux page. The created talks about how to use the products. She also says the leavein (if you use one) underneath the mousse it’s almost always the problem ;)

The same Halloween to me. i had used only their line and Mr hair was crunchy and flakey AND I used a ton of water.... Hated it. never went back!

Girl, I loved what it did for my definition and volume the Big Pippa gel and Mousse Def but the flaking fucked me up. I said Aunt Jackie would neverrrr. I went back to Aunt Jackie flaxseed gel and Nairobi mousse quick and just say that’s what I get for jumping on the bandwagon😩

I have found the Doux only likes other Doux products. Anytime I mix it with other products I get these white clumps (like cottage cheese 🤮) all throughout my hair. I’m not sure I will continue to buy Doux once these two products that I have are done.

Have you tried using a shampoo for hard water? You could have buildup on your hair. I have to use one at least once a month even with a water filter!

808 Base gel then Block Party, sprayed as wet as possible! Crazy hold but it’s moisturized and flexible underneath. Everything I ever see from the Bee girl collection is nothing but flakes
