look I don't really have a stake in this because I'm a straight dude. My first girlfriend happened to have been bi. I think it's perfectly reasonable to have a preference, but if you use a form of homophobia as you're justification for the preference then it's still homophobic.

Buddy the refusal is homophobic. They are not being forced. They are just being told that if the love of their lives came out as just simply being bi - refusing to be with them is due to the bigotry in them as fundamentally nothing has changed. So as they’re insulting bi people he’s allowed to insult them back 👍
