fr, getting sick and tired of the people saying "just because AO3 was created by wincest shippers doesn't mean there has to be weird shit on there" like I'm afraid that's the point!!!! i don't care about wincest but I love ao3. and if people are upset by content that they don't like and want it censored, then maybe create your own site!! cuz that's exactly what the wincest shippers did with creating ao3. so it's so ironic to see people saying "we shouldn't allow x,y,z to exist on ao3" is basically the reason why ao3 exists!!!

I love ao3 but I will never in my life purposely read a incest fic or anything like if I realize to late that’s what it is I will close out and never go back into said fic this is why I get fic recs from TikTok or tumblr and I don’t go deep diving into ao3 often
