@gluten.free.runne: We’re all just going through life together for the first time, and I think sharing bits and pieces that we learn is helpful. This is something I learned the hard way, so I hope I can help someone who maybe needs to hear it too. #glutenfreerunner #teenathlete #fitnesswatch #fuelyourbody #distancerunner

If you don’t listen to your body when it whispers, eventually it may scream, and then you’ll be forced to listen.

Hey kiddo, this is super responsible of you. I love that you are using this platform to educate. So many young people (yes I know you are an adult) only use the platform for clout. Good for you for using it right!

I did this in my 20’s…didn’t listen to my body but focused on the numbers. From miles I ran to calories burned. Ended up with a stress fracture on my foot. I cannot tell you how important it is to listen to your body, speaking as someone who also learned the hard way.

Fitbit triggered years of eating disorders in my younger days. If I ate before working out, it would put me in the red for calories. Not eating became a game I could win. Also learned the hard way. Thanks for speaking out ❤️

My Apple Watch gave me health anxiety I had to stop wearing it. I was obsessed about my heart rate and heart rhythm which lead to panic attacks

Not me watching this video wearing the same tshirt 😁. Also Garmin was reminding me again this morning that I got poor sleep last night. Unfortunately it was right so I've got to work on that again.

I have epilepsy and I never wanted to listen to my body I just wanted to keep going because I thought I would be seen as a lazy person. But now I’m starting to listen to my body I still am sometimes not listening to my body but I will lose so much energy that I will fall. I try to keep that in my mind

thanks for this topic, I did this in my 20s, and I know see it as a form of self harm to myself, learning to listen to my body and exercise that doesnt cause physical has been a slow gradual lesson. learning your body limits is important at any age and its not being lazy.
