Okay fine I admit it I don’t know how faith works. It’s a verb but what does that mean. If it’s an action, I don’t know how to perform it. If it’s a thing I’m missing I don’t know how to get more. If it’s a thing I have, I don’t know how to give it. People lack faith but verbs aren’t tangible things that accumulate? It’s like a door hinge but where do I get the pin that binds the two

Except I can prove cars exist and cars often start. I also know I can’t guarantee it starts. It’s just the most likely scenario based on past evidence. So no I don’t have faith my car will start. I have an educated guess. God gives us none of that. He gave us a collection of books full of contradictions. In two different dead languages. Compiled over centuries with edits and retranslations. How do you know what you are reading actually what god wants?

isnt that admitting faith requires action? saying it's not faith until you actually try to start you car, means faith isnt there until you perform an action. so saying works arent required for salvation doesn't really make sense, because you still need to do things to show any faith is there. until the action, faith doesn't exist, according to your example. so you can't claim works along with faith dont Save you, when works are inherently apart of the equation for faith. it's involved either way

I grew up in a Christian home. went to a Christian school. I asked questions repeatedly. I wasn't forced to have faith. I choose to have faith.

faith is related to not know every thing and I never try to understand God that would be impossible considering that I don't even understand the universe he created, so I stop myself from thinking to much on what I read in the Bible sometimes, or searching in the internet for answers and let ignorance in my tiny brain (I just search one time to corroborate that I wasn't reading bad and Lea Raquel and Jacob were actually cousins 😂) and even then when I found out they were actually related I just drop my brain and didn't think more than that.
